Integrate Braintree’s code once, and you could accept almost any form of payment on the planet — and even new ones that might appear in the future. That made developers’ lives much easier. The only challenge was letting them know.

Developers can be a tough group to reach through traditional advertising, but one reliable way to connect with them is through food. So we created the Accept Anything Food Truck — a traveling experience that visited shared workspaces and accepted nearly anything as payment for lunch.

We offered playful “payment” options like moonwalking to the pickup window, thumb wrestling, or trying to lick your elbow. Developers got creative and invented their own ways to pay — and, of course, we accepted those too.
