LittleBits is a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks that empowered anyone to invent — from remote-controlled cars to smart home devices. The Bits snapped together with magnets, with no soldering, wiring, or programming required.
For the holiday season, the company wanted to launch the Gizmos & Gadgets Kit, a collection that could create up to 100 different projects right out of the box. The challenge was to reach a completely new audience — boys and girls aged 8–12 — while also appealing to parents, who ultimately made the purchase decisions.
To meet both audiences, we developed a mix of tailored content. We produced PR assets aimed at parents, featured in pre-roll ads, blogs, and the Amazon product page. At the same time, we partnered with directors and production companies to create playful, engaging content that introduced littleBits to kids in a fun and inspiring way.
The results exceeded expectations: we surpassed our Black Friday sales goals and went on to beat them again on Cyber Monday — two strong indicators of a successful holiday season for the brand.
